The goal of Bhava Gati Yoga is to be able to sustain a peaceful connection to our own inner intelligence; regardless of what life challenges come our way.

The connection between the mind and body is a profound, two-way energetic exchange. Mood can affect our bodies, and the converse is true as well. By manipulating our bodies we can improve our mood state, or bhava. The challenge is then to take the newly created bhava out of the yoga studio and sustain it in our daily lives.

Private sessions consist of integrating emotions and movement in order to achieve the connection to our inner wisdom that allow for greater ease and flow in life. Julie invites her clients to explore their thoughts and feelings on the mat, and thereby learning how to drop down out of habitual thought and listen to what the body can teach us about our inner self.

Sessions begin with quiet, non-challenging dialogue, to open the mind to what issues could be explored during the session. A sitting meditation follows, to assist the client in dropping down into the body and breath in order to connect more fully with their inner awareness. Yoga movement follows, according to the client's ability and intentions for the session. The practice closes with another intuitive dialogue, where the feelings that have come and gone during the hour are recognized and either released or intentionally integrated into the renewed body/spirit awareness.

Bhava Gati Yoga will not only rejuvenate the body, creating more flexibility and strength, but also perform the same miracle for the mind and spirit, allowing for greater ease and joy throughout all aspects of your life.
